Google’s Brin to Blast Off

Google co-founder Sergey Brin flies a LOT. But according to U.S. company Space Adventures, Brin has just booked the flight of his life. In a deal with the Russian space agency, the first private space flight to the International Space Station will blast off in 2011 and Brin will be on it.

The Russian born billionaire will occupy one of the two seats available to private space explorers. The seats were offered to businesses, organizations, institutions and individual explorers.

The Ride Of Sergey Brins Life! This is going to be the best. I am excited when someone gets to actually count down to the day of dreams 🙂

Lucky bugger. I’d love to visit the ISS. Oh well… someday I might be filthy rich, until then I can just dream.

I wonder if Google paid for the seat or if Brin did? Either way, what a great moment in history. I wonder who will get the seat next to him….?

Congrats to him. Hope everything goes as planned.
