Some backlinks we create for clients don’t show up until that particular site is crawled (sometimes 2-3months) but don’t let that put you off, consider it a nice bonus in a couple of months time!

Do we still get the benefits of the links even if they are not shown? my blog is slowly creeping up but still shows no backlinks

You can’t really rely on Google to list them, Yahoo is a litle better but the best way to see if your backlinking is working is to keep an eye on your SE rankings. If the onpage content hasn’t changed it has to be the backlinks
