Many of the directory companies choose to NOFOLLOW links which doesnt help so much with your SEO. The biggest online free directory listing is http://www.brownbook.net, which DOESN’T nofollow your links. Business profile pages are free, and they get indexed by Google etc within the hour. I think your readers should add this to their list.
