FreshBooks, a cloud-synced accounting app designed for small business owners, has come to Android and is now available for download from Google Play.
“This newest member of the FreshBooks mobile cloud accounting app family is designed for you,” reads a blog post on the company website. “Whether you’re tracking time from the coffee shop, capturing expenses in the back of a cab or sending an invoice right from a client’s office, FreshBooks for Android will help you tap your way to getting it all done.”
The app, which allows users to send, receive, print and pay invoices on-the-go, is also available for iPhone and iPad. The Toronto, Ont. company offers a Web-based version of FreshBooks as well.
The app, which enables users to keep track of client lists, projects and financial statements, has several useful features.
Invoicing from anywhere — Users can send an invoice anywhere there is an Internet connection making work from home or while travelling easy.
Users can also import contacts to invoice from their Android address book and keep track of if sent invoices have been viewed by the recipient.
Easy Records — Users can take a picture of a receipt and attach it to an expense for their records, eliminating the need of paper records. Clients can also be billed for expenses right from the app.
Track those hours — FreshBooks allows users to keep track of all their billable hours and minutes. Simply “turn on the timer while on the clock for your client,” the website recommends. “No matter where you’re inspired, you can track every second and bill for your time accurately.”
Syncing and storing — Data is always synced and stored in the cloud allowing users to move from one device to another without any lag time.
