Next year’s iPhone will likely sport a very new look complete with larger curved screens, Bloomberg is reporting.
Two models that will debut next fall will feature larger glass screens that curve downward at the edges, a source told Bloomberg, adding that touch sensors may also be part of the screens.
The two devices, the source said, will have screens of 4.7 and 5.5 inches respectively— both are larger than Apple’s current iPhones.
The new iPhones are in development and plans are still in the works, the source said.
Curved screens are nothing new for Smartphones — in fact, Apple will definitely arrive late to the party with its curved displays.
LG and Samsung have both announced curved-screen Smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy Round with its 5.7-inch display was launched in Korea a month ago.
The LG Flex with its flexible OLED screen technology is to hit the Korean market later this month.
