Google is determined, when you have questions, Google Assistant will be able to help.
To use the feature, simply say, “OK Google, find me an electrician” to your Assistant on Google Home or your Android phone or iPhone. The Assistant will ask a couple of follow up questions before providing a list of your local options.
As usual, the feature is rolling out to U.S. customers first.
“In the U.S., this feature will start rolling out over the coming week, so help is just around the corner,” Google Assistant product lead Gummi Hafsteinsson said. “So start planning your next big project—whether it’s fixing your garage door or painting your garage door—all with your Assistant by your side.”
Google Assistant, for a number of cities, will put forward service providers who have been screened by Google, HomeAdvisor or Porch, so you know you are contacting someone qualified to do the job. Those who live in an area without any screened providers will still receive local results from the Assistant.
