If you are in the market for a new laptop this holiday season, Google’s latest deal may be what you are looking for.
The tech titan is selling the Pixelbook and the Samsung Chromebooks Pro and Plus complete with six months of free Netflix until the end of December. Customers who have already purchased a qualifying Chromebook can also take advantage of the offer until Dec. 31.
The deal offers six months of Netflix’s $10.99 per month plan for free. It can be streamed on up to two screens in high definition. If you wanted Netflix’s premium plan, however, which comes with ultra high definition streaming, Google will permit you to apply the $65.94 credit toward that package or any other of your choosing.
Google’s Pixelbook, which starts at $999, can convert to a tablet and boasts a 12.3-inch high-resolution touchscreen display. It runs on the Chrome OS, is powered by Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and has plenty of RAM. It’s the “first laptop with the Assistant built in, and the Pixelbook Pen makes the whole experience even smarter.”
The Samsung Chromebook Pro retails for $550 and the Plus for $450. The Chromebook Plus features an ARM processor while the Chromebook Pro is powered by an Intel Core m3 processor. The laptops, which have “the flexibility and versatility of a tablet,” are designed for Google Play, offering easy access to movies, books and music on the devices’ quad HD, 360-degree rotating touchscreen. The laptops also come with a built-in digitized pen.
