It’s About Experience in Real Life and Online

With the growth of the online world, social networks have become the epitome of sharing and connecting. As more individuals have begun sharing through the online world, experiencing things in real life has become less attractive. Perhaps this is because the online networks are so colorful and have so much to offer the imagination.

Online vs. Real-life

Some people rely on technology to do their exploring for them, wandering the online world without wondering about real life experiences. But have you ever wondered where all that data comes from? The accumulation of so many of these facts and fictions are still someone else’s perception of the real world. If you are going to make the most of an experience, you’ll need to open up and explore the world for yourself. Only then will you have something to share in your online networks.

One must be cautious about living through the social world alone though. There may be plenty of colors, stories, facts, and fictions that have already been shared, but what do you have to share? Are you always the individual in the theatre watching or do you play a part and contribute as well? With all the data in the online world, one must consider that there is an initial source for it all. Are you one of those sources?

For many, educating and learning is done through the online world. However, have you ever wondered how reliable those sources are? Are they simply a repeat of what someone else has said? Are they true or simply perception? You have to be there to experience it for yourself to be able to share it well with the online world. With so much room for learning and growth, we need to open ourselves up to real-life experiences that we can share with others.

Experience things for yourself

One of the biggest issues with social networks is that it limits people to their own communities. However, what can you offer your community that makes you unique to it? Are there experiences that you can share with them? At times, you can better connect with the community by leaving its confines and bringing something back that makes you unique to them and helps everyone within the community to grow in an extraordinary way.

Remember, the world is a big place and is merely enhanced by the online world. These technologies are designed to help us share what we’ve learned and experienced with others. Consider the authenticity of what you post online. Have you experienced this for yourself? Do you truly understand what you’re saying? What are the facts, at least from your own experience and perception? Sharing through word of mouth becomes increasingly trustworthy to your audience when you can speak from experience.

In essence, by experiencing and sharing what you’ve learned, you can use your own stories to drive others to get up and explore the world for themselves. Then, you will truly have something to talk about during your next online conversation.
