“Today we’re expanding the +Gmail people widget to include brands and businesses (http://goo.gl/wx2mI), making it easier for your customers to connect with you on Google+,” reads a Google+ post. “This way, when people receive emails from your domain, they can follow your Google+ page directly from their inbox.”
• The sender’s domain for the e-mail must match that of the verified website. “If your website is verified as http://www.example.com, the e-mail must be sent from the @example.com domain,” Google says. “If you send email from a subdomain of your verified domain (such as @xyz.example.com), we’ll match it to your page unless there’s a different Google+ page associated with that address.”
• A business’ e-mail must be digitally signed with DKIM or SPF to verify the e-mails are coming from the business rather than spammers forging the company’s identity.
• Businesses must send at least 1,000 e-mails a week from the domain.
