A leaked photo of what appears to be HTC’s new Mini has made its way around the Internet today.

Sources, like this article posted on Engadget, say the rumored HTC Mini is actually the M4. While HTC hasn’t released any information on its blog or press page, it’s rumored the phone is slated to be released this August and it will be priced aggressively.

A more slenderized version of the HTC One, the Mini has a 4.3-inch screen but, other than its smaller frame, looks very similar to its predecessor.

Similar to the HTC One, the Mini is equipped with Beats Audio, a rear-shooting camera and the same Android operating system.

Besides that, very few details are available on the technical specifications of the phone as of yet.

” Other speculation points to a 720p, not full HD 1080p, screen and a watered-down dual-core processor. You can expect Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the latest iteration of Sense UI, plus all those fancy camera features the HTC One brought to the table, including HTC Zoe,” says a report on CNet.

It’s no secret that HTC has been experiencing financial woes in the past few years, with several company executives jumping ship amidst the turmoil. However, the release of the HTC One resulted in record profits for the month of May. By mid-May, more than five-million HTC One phones were sold, according to an article by MobileSyrup.
