iTunes Radio Turns Up In New iTunes Version

Apple is combining its iTunes Radio service with its new version of iTunes which is being given to developers to test, according to news reports.

The new radio service was packaged within the beta version of iTunes 11.1, which appeared on Apple’s developer site Monday.

Apple unveiled its new Internet radio service at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco last month.

The free, ad-supported service, set to officially launch this fall, will feature more than 200 stations as well as its iTunes catalog.

Early beta versions of iOS 7 and iOS for Apple TV had already integrated iTunes Radio.

Apple has also released iOS 7 beta 4 for the iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini and iPod Touch to developers. The release comes one week late after a security breach forced Apple to take its developers site offline.

It is thought iOS 7 will also be launched this fall.
