Samsung Makes Light of Galaxy S6 Rumors

Samsung decided to have a little fun today by addressing all of the outlandish rumors about its upcoming flagship handset, the Galaxy S6.

The South Korean company published a page on its Norwegian site — dubbed ‘Is this the next?’ — on which it mocks some of the wild predictions.

“Rumors point to an all-glass Samsung Galaxy,” one of the posts read. It was accompanied by a picture of what a glass Galaxy could look like.

“Samsung is expected to release a flexibile and foldable phone,” reads another post next to an image of a wildly curved phone.

Yet another said: “Galaxy display is supposed to reach onto three sides.”

It is thought Samsung will debut the Galaxy S6 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday.

Last fall, it was reported the technology giant was rethinking its approach to its Smartphones, resulting in a very different Galaxy S6.

It has been reported the device will feature a QHD display, 16 or 20 MP camera and a 64-bit.

Business Insider pointed to declining sales as a possible impetus for the company’s decision to scrap its long-standing framework for its phones and reimagine its line. The move comes after the Galaxy S5 was released with similar innards but, apparently the S6 will be a step above what Samsung promoted as its flagship phone.
