Say goodbye to lost Smartphones.
Google has a new tool to help Android phone users find their misplaced handsets.
“We’ve all been there — you’ve searched under your car seat, tossed around the sofa cushions and you still can’t find your phone,” reads a Google+ post.
“If you know where your computer is, you can now ask Google to find your Android phone from your desktop. If the pesky phone is hiding nearby, Google can ring it for you — or you can see it on the map if you, say, forgot it at the bar.”
The first step is to install the latest version of the Google app onto their devices. Once a user is logged into his or her device, he or she can search ‘find my phone’ in Google search.
Google.com will then display a map with the phone’s location pinpointed. If the phone is nearby, Google can ring the phone to make it easier to find.
