Leaked images are fueling beliefs Samsung will be launching its latest smartphone in the coming weeks.
It’s no secret the Galaxy S7 will arrive this year, but Samsung hasn’t provided a date leaving many questioning when the reveal will take place. Well, the date is believed, now, to be Feb. 21 after blogger and known leaker Evan Blass shared an image on his Twitter account of a Samsung advertisement announcing “#The Next Galaxy” with the Feb. 21 date.
Blass’ image – as well as those of the device – don’t give too much away, as noted by Forbes, but this isn’t the first time information has been reported regarding the device.
Numerous outlets have already reported Samsung’s planning a 5.2-inch flat-screen version, and a 5.5-inch, curved-screen version that will be called the ‘Galaxy S7 edge.
In addition, though, users should see a change with photography as Samsung has dumped its 16 MP camera for a 12 MP but fitted a lighting fast f/1.7 aperture that has the potential to deliver brilliant high speed and low light photography.
And, as 9 to 5 Google reported, the device is also expected to feature a larger battery with either the Snapdragon 820 processor or the Exynos 8890. It might even have a pressure-sensitive touchscreen.
