Sites Reporting Deatils, Release Date for Next Generation of Device
Nothing fires up the Internet like iPhone rumors and leaks.
Such was the case Wednesday as sites lit up with new information about Apple’s next phone. Initial reports indicated the tech giant may vary from routine and release the device under a different moniker, but it appears the next iPhone will roll out as iPhone 7.
Just when it does hit the street has also been the subject of speculation. However, Forbes reported the iPhone 7 and the larger dual camera iPhone 7 Plus will not go on sale until September 23. There has, of course, been no official confirmation from Apple.
The company is known for keeping information about iPhones – and any product, for that matter – under lock and key until the launches, but Business Insider did spill the beans on some specifications for the next iPhone.
The next device will, reportedly, be available in two sizes: the standard 4.7-inch screen model as well as a Plus model with a 5.5-inch screen. As well, in terms of design, it is expected Apple won’t be making any drastic changes from the iPhone 6 with nearly identical renderings for the new phone. Yet, there may be a new color included in the options as leaked images show a blue iPhone.
Camera-wise, it looks as though the larger iPhone 7 Plus may come equipped with a dual camera while, just like on iPhone6, the camera will bulge out, slightly, from the device.
Again, what the phone really will look like and feature likely won’t be revealed by April until sometime next month.
