This textual description is available on search engine results. It is a short description of what content can be expected, encouraging visitors to enter. Good meta descriptions are usually two sentences long. Search engines may not use the meta description you provided, but there is no harm in giving them an option. 

Keyword Metadata

Keyword metadata is not used to calculate search engine rankings, but since you know what keyword phrases you are targeting, it doesn’t hurt to add them in your keyword metadata. Add a variety of sentences; 3-7 keyword phrases with 1-4 words should do the trick.
